Free Summer Meals Available for Students

EdAdvance, located in Litchfield and one of six Regional Educational Service Centers, will offer federally funded free summer breakfasts and lunches for all children and teens 18 years of age and younger.

Road and Tree Work on Town’s Summer Agenda

Aquarion Water Shut-Off

On Tuesday, July 9, 2025, Aquarion will be shutting off the water on Shepard Road at 7:00 a.m. for 6-8 hours.

Dog Licensing

Dog licenses must be renewed by June 30 through the Town Clerk’s office.

Transfer Station & Tobey Pond Permits

Permits for the Transfer Station and Tobey Pond may be obtained in person at the Town Clerk’s office during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to noon, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., or by mail. There is also a locked mailbox on the front porch where applications with checks can be deposited. Application available here.
