Halloween trick-or-treaters will again be roaming Maple Avenue and its side streets, Hillside Street and Terrace View, on Saturday and First Selectman Henry Tirrell warns motorists to use caution from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The streets used to be blocked off during the hours children would be out, but with early voting continuing at the Town Hall Saturday until 6:00 p.m. the street must remain open. The Norfolk firefighters will be on the street from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. to help ensure safety.
The firefighters invite everyone to stop by their fire house at 20 Shepard Road for a treat.
