Firefighters Plan a Big Night Out as a Fundraiser

The Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department doesn’t just answer the call when the alarm goes off, it also works throughout the year to assist charitable causes and to raise funds for its own operating budget. This year, it will combine two of its annual events into one big night out—Bids & Ballots: Silent Auction and Karaoke Night.

The event is set for Saturday, November 21, from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, at Infinity Hall. Tickets can be purchased online in advance. Admission is $10 per person for karaoke only, which will take place upstairs at the theater, starting at 7:00 p.m. and continuing through midnight.

Access to both the silent auction and karaoke costs $25 per person and includes one free drink. The silent auction will be conducted from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and items include event tickets, trips, unique experiences, gift baskets, gift cards and much more.

Participants can purchase dinner, appetizers and drinks at the Bistro before or during the festivities but reservations are encouraged.

All proceeds benefit the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department.
