“Changing Colors” by Jessica Bartlet will be on display at the Norfolk Library from November 2 to December 4. An opening reception for the artist will take place on Sunday, November 3, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and is hosted by the Library Associates.
Bartlet, a painter and art teacher who works out of her home in New Hartford, brings the drama of outside into her large and small landscape paintings. Whether it’s the bold bark of a tree that has lost its leaves or the bright green marshlands with white clouds exploding overhead, she captures nature in all its simple grandness.
