The Norfolk Hub will host a presentation on the Asian Jumping Worm sponsored by the Norfolk Conservation Commission with Annise Dobson, research scientist at Yale School of the Environment on Wednesday, March 26, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Asian Jumping Worms are a serious threat to forest ecosystems across the U.S. because of how they disrupt soil layers and consume organic matter. They also pose a growing problem for gardeners. Annise will explain the Asian jumping worm’s life cycle and what we can do to minimize their impact.
