The documentary film, The Candidate, will be shown at the Norfolk Library on Thursday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. followed by a discussion with the filmmakers. The second film in a short series is about a Pakistani immigrant human rights lawyer who has run twice for Congress and the effect of corporate donations on the candidate’s campaign. The first film in the series is Ratified and being shown at the library Wednesday, October 23, at 6:30 p.m.
