Join the Norfolk Library for an introductory meeting of the Norfolk Library Cookbook Group on Monday, May 12 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Led by avid cookbook collector Barry Webber, this Cookbook Group will meet monthly with each meeting focused on a different cookbook or regional cuisine. Participants will check out a copy of the chosen cookbook, try several recipes, and bring a dish to the next meeting for a potluck of the book.
For May’s meeting, please bring your favorite topping for a dinner salad bar. We will provide mixed greens and bread. Ideas for toppings include but are not limited to: grilled chicken or tofu, smashed cucumbers, bacon bits or bacon jam, hardboiled eggs, pickled or fresh vegetables, and cheeses. Let your culinary creativity fly!
