Anne Gill wanted to get to know her grandfather better. But he has been dead for over 20 years. Luckily, her grandfather is prolific New Yorker staff writer, Brendan Gill, who left behind a mountain of writing; from theater criticisms to coffee table books, novels to poems. Anne’s presentation “My Grandfather’s Stories: Meeting Grandfather in his Fiction” Monday, August 11 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Norfolk Library is the culmination of a creative collaboration across generations that asks, “How do we tell our own stories? Who tells them when we’re gone? And how do they change within a family over time?”
