Overview

The Registrars of Voters are elected officials. Their responsibilities include processing registration and enrollment applications within statutory time frames, maintaining current and accurate lists of all qualified voters in the Town and conducting all elections and voting events in accordance with state statutes, regulations and directives from the Office of the Secretary of State.

Those who wish to volunteer as poll workers during elections are encouraged to email the registrars or to call the registrars’ office and leave a message. See the contact information below.

FAQ

You must be:
1. a U. S. Citizen

2. a resident of Norfolk

3. at least 17 years old (you can vote when you turn 18)

4. if previously convicted of a felony, must have completed sentence and had rights restored by Registrar.

The absentee ballot is available from the Town Clerk’s office. A form to request an absentee ballot may be downloaded from the Resources section of this website page.
