This Norfolk Hub Talk, sponsored by the Norfolk Conservation Commission, answers the question, “Black bears in Connecticut: when, where and how many?” Tracy Rittenhouse, of the University of Connecticut, and Laura Simon, of the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association, will talk about a four-year research project studying Connecticut’s black bear population and look at the sources of bear-human conflicts in Connecticut.
