When author Annie Dillard said, “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives,” she hadn’t yet lived through a pandemic. Many of us are languishing after the emotional turmoil of 2020 that is continuing into 2021. We feel stuck across different aspects of our lives and we lack motivation to move us forward. Using the book Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear, this program will help us take small steps to reclaim our days. Together we’ll read through the book over a 12-week period, virtually meeting every other Saturday morning to discuss the readings and make them meaningful for our own lives. Please note, you do NOT have to read the book prior to the first meeting. For questions or more information about the program, please contact Kelly Kandra Hughes at the Norfolk Library at kkandrahughes@biblio.org or call 860-542-7103.
