5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
If you run or are involved with a nonprofit working toward bettering lives in our community, you’ll want to know about the support Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation provides, strengthening communities through philanthropy and leadership since 1987. BTCF’s President and Norfolk neighbor Kara Mikulich, BTCF’s Vice President of Programs, Maeve O’Dea, and Aileen Meehan, Community Engagement Officer, will present an overview of what BTCF does, how it works, and how you can seek funding on Thursday, October 22 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
BTCF channels generosity where it’s needed most and brings resources and passion together to tackle our region’s pressing issues to create lasting change. Today, BTCF manages more than 650 funds and awards over $18 million dollars annually in grants and scholarships that support nonprofit organizations in Berkshire County, northwest Litchfield County, Columbia County and northeast Dutchess County.
Refreshments will be served. This is the first in a series of talks and workshops sponsored by the Norfolk Economic Development Commission.
