Thursday, August 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. is a special opportunity to get a “sneak peek” at the works of over 30 local artists featured at Norfolk Artists & Friends‘ 17th Annual Group Art Exhibit. The show takes place August 1-4 at the Art Barn on the Battell Stoeckel Estate.
Norfolk Artists and Friends is a membership organization of professional artists living and working in Norfolk, Connecticut.
Members embrace a wide variety of visual arts including, but not limited to, painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and decorative arts. The group art exhibit is a wonderful way to view the works of artists in the Norfolk community.
The remaining event schedule is as follows:
Friday, August 2: Opening Reception, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 3: Regular Exhibit Hours, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 4: Regular Exhibit Hours, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The annual art exhibition is running concurrently with Weekend in Norfolk, a three-day festival with numerous activities happening in Norfolk, Connecticut.
The exhibit is sponsored by the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and 15% of sales are donated to the Music Festival.
