GRAMMY-winning banjoist and Banjo Hall of Fame member Alison Brown will perform at Infinity Hall on June 6, at 8:00 p.m. She will be appearing with the long-time members of her touring Quintet: John Ragusa (flute), Mason Embry (piano), Garry West (bass) and Bryan Brock (drums).
Alison is one of today’s most innovative five-string banjo players, known for taking the instrument beyond its Appalachian roots into musical territory that blends jazz, Latin, folk and bluegrass to create a unique sonic tapestry that has earned her acclaim from USA Today, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and NPR.
