Please join the Norfolk Library as they welcome Melvin Chen, Director of the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, and Vin Cipolla, President and CEO of Historic New England, on Tuesday, July 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for “Music and Arts Festivals in New England: A Conversation in the Library.” The program is part of a series of dynamic free panels sponsored by Historic New England that brings together preservationists, civic leaders, and educators in a conversation about issues relevant to preservation in Connecticut. Chen and Cipolla will explore the rich tradition of music and arts festivals in New England, looking at what these institutions are doing to evolve new audiences, priorities and challenges, while sustaining their missions and communities.
