The Haystack Book Festival’s 10:30 a.m. offering, “A Conversation About Wisdom and Memory,” at the Norfolk Library, Saturday, October 5, brings together Michael Korda, author of “Muse of Fire: WWI as Seen Through the Lines of Soldier Poets,” in conversation with Simon Winchester, author of “Knowing What We Know: The Transmission of Knowledge: From Ancient Wisdom to Modern Magic.”
The annual Haystack Book Festival, a program of the Norfolk Foundation, brings together writers and thinkers to explore new ideas in literature and the arts.
