Come to the Norfolk Library Monday, April 10, at 6:00 p.m. to celebrate the birthday of Isabella Purple Eldridge, who founded the Norfolk Library in 1888. She was born on April 10, 1848, and the library will celebrate her birthday with a book exchange, mocktails, and cake. Find out more about Isabella and why she was named Purple (wear purple if you feel so inclined). Bring a favorite, gently used and wrapped book for the exchange. This is a family friendly event.
