Aton Forest will host an Exhibition Reception “What is Aton Forest? What Acquiring the Spaulding Pond Preserve Means to Us,” Aton Forest President, Billy Gridley, at the Norfolk Hub on Friday, July 10 at 4:30 p.m.
Aton Forest is an Ecosystem Field Station and Natural Area Preserve 501(c)3 in Norfolk, CT, with the 1500-acre Egler Preserve and the 1000-acre Spaulding Pond Preserve. Several Aton Forest July Events and an Exhibition will focus on the lives of ecologist Dr. Frank Egler and his wife the photographer Happy Kitchel Egler, two Connecticut pioneers of natural area preserve conservation.
