04/05/2025
9:00 am - 11:00 am

Great Mountain Forest and the Norfolk Conservation Commission are sponsoring a bittersweet invasive removal session on Saturday, April 5 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Volunteers will meet at Great Mountain Forest (200 Canaan Mountain Road). Help protect our local ecosystem. Bittersweet is an invasive vine that threatens native plants by choking them out.

Some of the gathered vines will be sued in a basket making class offered at the forest. The date is to be determined. All volunteers will receive a 15% discount for the basket making workshop.

Volunteers are reminded to bring their clippers and gloves.
