Yale Norfolk Art Lecture: Paul Pfeiffer

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Yale Norfolk School of Art kicks off its “Making Light” Thursday night lecture series on Thursday, May 23, with Paul Pfeiffer at 7:00 p.m. in the Art Barn on the Battell Stoeckel Estate with a wine reception to follow.

Paul Pfeiffer is a brilliant manipulator of popular media and image technology. His films, photos and installations illuminate the individual from a crowd, often within the context of sports events, religious congregations and political gatherings.

The Yale Norfolk School of Art, established in 1948, is an intensive six-week undergraduate summer residency program for 26 rising seniors. It is made possible with the support of Yale School of Art, The Norfolk Hub, the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Trust, Low Road Foundation and Battell Arts Foundation.
