Yale Norfolk Art Lecture: Mika Rottenberg

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Yale Norfolk School of Art concludes its “Making Light” Thursday night lecture series on Thursday, June 20, with Mika Rottenberg from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Art Barn on the Battell Stoeckel Estate with a wine reception to follow.

Mika Rottenberg is a video artist whose work often investigates the link between the female body and production mechanisms. “Remote,” Mika Rottenberg & Mahyad Tousi’s latest surreal film teleports the female body in time and space uncovering phenomena with universe altering consequences.

The Yale Norfolk School of Art, established in 1948, is an intensive six-week undergraduate summer residency program for 26 rising seniors. It is made possible with the support of Yale School of Art, The Norfolk Hub, the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Trust, Low Road Foundation and Battell Arts Foundation.
