World Premiere of Symphony at Yale Summer School

8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

The Yale Summer School of Music will host the world premiere of the American Discovery Symphony, Tuesday, May 24, at 8:00 p.m. at the Music Shed. The symphony is an orchestrated travelogue and love story about a 5,000-mile walk across the country.  Its five movements portray five themes of discovery across America: Beauty, Culture, Kindness, Joy and Journey. Grammy Award-winning flutist Rhonda Larson and Chorus Angelicus take the stage, along with composer Kirk Sinclair performing on guitar. Admission is free but registration is required by clicking here.
