DESCRIPTION:As part of the Centennial Celebration of Aton Forest\, the Norf
 olk Hub will host the Aton Forest Science Lecture III “The Leafminers of
  Aton Forest” on Friday\, September 18 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. This lectu
 re is presented by Aton Forest Research Fellow Charley Eiseman. The event 
 is sponsored by Aton Forest Fellowship Trust\, Colebrook Conservation Comm
 ission and the Norfolk Conservation Commission. It is a free event.\n\nLea
 f-miners are the larvae of certain moths\, flies and beetles that feed bet
 ween the epidermal layers of leaves. These insects leave diverse\, often i
 ntriguing signs (“leaf-mines”) on their host plants.\n\nAton Forest is
  an Ecosystem Field Station and Norfolk’s Natural Area Land Trust\, the 
 second largest Norfolk-based non-profit land-owner\, with 2500 acres of co
 nserved land which it studies for the benefit of natural and human communi
