Tales from Connecticut’s Aviation History

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

John Cilio will tell some of the stories that unfolded throughout Connecticut’s rich  history of aviation innovation during a virtual presentation Thursday, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. The talk is sponsored by the Norfolk Library. During his 50-minute program, Clio will reveal such intriguing  facts as that one of the pioneers in aerial photography was from Connecticut and that Connecticut, once the leader in U.S. stagecoach travel, would evolve to provide the global aviation community with critical engines, instruments and technologies. Cilio has been telling the stories of Connecticut’s aviation history for more than a decade and has published seven books on historical topics ranging from women working in WWII to vintage helicopters. He is an honorary member of  Danbury’s WWII Lost Squadron Veterans organization. To register, please click here.
