The Norfolk Curling Club will host its annual Spring Family & Friends Bonspiel on Saturday, April 11, with draws offered at 10:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (If there is interest, a 4:00 draw will be added.) Bring a snack for your team for after your game. Everyone is invited to attend.
Three (3) draws this year allows twelve (12) teams to enter. Each team will play one 6 end game and have about 10-15 minutes to show your family or friends how to play the game.
The cost is $40 per team. You only need to register once for your team.
A few simple rules:
One club member (minimum) per team is required
There can only be a maximum of 2 Norfolk Curling Club members per team
Each club member is only allowed to play in one game on one team
The bonspiel will be filled on a first come, first serve basis
There is no age mininmum (as long as the youth can get the rock down the sheet)
Teams may have more than 4 people and rotate through play (only 4 members will count towards points)
Rules and point handicaps will be explained at a later time, closer to the bonspiel.
