A slideshow of photos by Bruce Frisch. When the New York Port Authority presented its plans for the World Trade Center, the public saw it as a new World’s Tallest Building and as an architectural innovation. Writing an article on tallest buildings and then one on the coming twins stirred Frisch to photograph their spectacular rise, from the Washington Street food market that the two towers replaced to the view from the completed South Tower in 1973. Hub hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A retrospective of Frisch’s nature photographs and portraits is also on display.
