As part of Connecticut Trails Day, the Norfolk Land Trust will sponsor a nature walk on the Tait Trail off Grantville Road at 9 am. June 6. Shelley Harms, vice-president of the land trust, will lead the walk. Shelley, a member of the Norfolk Conservation Commission will identify native plants along the old railroad bed, and as a long-time bird enthusiast, she will point out avians round along the route.
This is an easy trail to walk is approximately two miles long, out and back. The trail may be wet so please dress appropriately. We will gather at the trailhead to Pine Mountain off Grantville Road. This event will be rain or shine
