GMF Slide Talk: Charting a Path for Conservation

Presented by Great Mountain Forest, Dr. Adam Whelchel will speak about his recent trip to Antarctica. He has ice climbed crevasses in Alaska, trekked throughout the Himalayas, explored river caves in Thailand and Belize, and lived with indigenous peoples in East Africa. He holds degrees from the University of Delaware, San Francisco State University, and the University of Vermont. His interests include geo-politics, language, music, mythology, urban design, and hot sauces. Currently, Adam is the reigning Colebrook Frog Jumping champion.
