Published in 2021, Last Night at the Telegraph Club is a a NYT Bestseller, National Book Award winner for young people’s literature, the Stonewall Book Award for Young Adult Literature, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Youth Literature, and a Michael L. Printz Honor, awarded to books that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. It appeared on the ALA’s list of Top 10 Most Challenged Books for 2025 as the fifth most challenged book (tied with Tricks by Ellen Hopkins).
