Aton Forest Forest Science Lecture II: The Lichens of Mason Hale 70 Years Later

The Norfolk Hub will host the Aton Forest Science Lecture II “Mason Hale’s Aton Forest Lichen Collection: 70 Years Later Report” by Dr. James Lendermer, Curator of Botany, New York State Museum, Sunday, July 19 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be a walk at Aton Forest (15 minutes away in North Norfolk). This lecture is part of a July month-long Celebration of Aton Forest’s 100-year Anniversary.

Aton Forest is a dual-purpose Ecosystem Field Station and Natural Area Land Trust and the second largest Norfolk-based non-profit land-owner with 2500 acres of conserved land which it studies for the benefit of natural and human communities.
