The Conservation Commission is inviting volunteers to assist it in its continuing work to remove highly invasive Asiatic bittersweet along Winchester Road between Grantville and Bruey Roads on Sunday, October 11, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Commission members will demonstrate practical management strategies, for both larger and small vines.
Refreshments will be provided. Volunteers should bring gloves, large loppers, clippers and hand saws and wear tick protection.
