The charitable mission of the Corporation is to educate about forests and forest management, and to engage in and support scientific research projects involving trees, forests, and other natural resources.
Access by the public is allowed between sunrise and sunset, on foot, skis, snowshoes or bicycle. Visitors must sign in and out at the east or west gates. The forest is closed to the public during deer hunting season.
