Breakdancing Workshop with Jacob "Roadhouse" Hodge

Hip hop is a sub-cultural art movement that was formed during the early 1970’s primarily by African-American and Afro-Puerto Rican youths residing in New York’s South Bronx. Among its many artistic expressions is breakdancing. Jacob will be joined by Nelson “Martian” Chalas, UConn class of 2015 and former member of UConn’s Break Dancing Club.

Children will need a note to get off the school bus at the Library.

Families and teens welcome!
